Meet the Coach
Coach Kevin Zhu
Owner/Coach
Kevin Zhu is a Semi-Professional Player and Assistant Coach for Virginia Dream FC. He has over 25 years of experience playing and coaching in the Northern Virginia area. He has played for multiple clubs (Herndon, Reston, Arlington, Loudoun, etc). as well as many different leagues (NCSL, ODP, PDL, UPSL, NPSL, US Open Cup, Academy, etc).
Kevin started his collegiate career playing at Longwood University a NCAA D1 program located in Virginia. After graduating Longwood University, he played semi-professional soccer at Fredericksburg Fire (MASL3). After playing with the Fire for 2 season he transferred to Virginia Dream FC (UPSL, NPSL, US Open Cup) where he continues to play and coach.
He has worked with hundreds of players both on and off the field. Constantly finding ways to improve himself and those around him.
